Though he had a stellar game, Chip Powers could not prevent his team, the USC Travelers, from losing, 5-3, to the Seton Hall Rampage. Powers hit 2 home runs. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice. The Rampage now have a mark of 24-13.

The Rampage got a big at-bat from third baseman Ron Zimmerman. For the game, Zimmerman was 1-4 with a double, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. In the bottom of the third, with the bases loaded, he stroked a 2-run double. His 9th double of the season gave Seton Hall a 2-0 lead.

"We'll enjoy this win," said Zimmerman. "But there's more we hope to accomplish."
