The bat of Wes Piper helped the East Carolina Sea Dawgs top the USC Travelers, 10-2. Piper was 2 for 4 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while adding 6 RBI and scoring once for East Carolina. John Carson picked up the win with 5.1 innings of work. He allowed 1 run on 5 hits, while walking 3 and striking out 4. On the season, he is now 2-1. East Carolina goes to 17-9, USC to 7-19.
