Red-Hot Chili Peppers Win Again
|
Mike Martin, who is the 3rd-best prospect in the Chili Peppers organization, was locked in. The right-hander led the UCLA Chili Peppers to a 6-3 win against the Central Florida Wicked Witches at Central Florida Grounds. Van Allen recorded his 8th save for UCLA. Now 22-3, the Chili Peppers have won 16 in a row.
UCLA got a big at-bat from El Dorado Hills, California native Logan Bousquet, who in the top of the third hit a bases-clearing triple. It was his 2nd triple of the season and put the Chili Peppers ahead, 6-1.
"We're obviously playing with a lot of confidence," said UCLA manager Kinji Hayakawa.
