Lucky Rodents Win, 3-2, in Extra Frames
|
The Minnesota Lucky Rodents had to weather a strong performance from Southern Miss pitcher Ismael Vega before claiming a 3-2 win in 10 innings. Vega went 6.1 innings and allowed 1 run. The Lucky Rodents now own a record of 10-16.
León Aguilar came through with a big-time hit for Minnesota. The pinch hitter smacked a solo home run in the top of the tenth inning to give his team the lead, 3-2. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.
In postgame remarks, Aguilar simply said: "Here's to a great win!"
