Big Daddies Snatch Late-Game, 6-5 Win
Indiana beat Rice at Big Daddies Ballpark, escaping with a 6-5 win. The win in large part was due to third baseman Anthony Nash. He was 2-4 with a home run and was hit by a pitch, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2. Indiana reliever Lúcio González picked up the win, raising his record to 1-1. Sean Palmer was tagged with the loss. The Big Daddies win now puts them at 11-6.

The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the ninth. With one out, Nash hit a fastball from Sean Palmer for a solo home run. The Big Daddies, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.

"Sometimes you get the ball in the right spot and it goes," said Nash.
