Campos Peloteros was the site for Imperial League action featuring the London Underground and Havana Leones.

The Havana Leones had to overcome a good performance from London pitcher José Hernández to claim a 3-2 win at Campos Peloteros. Hernández went 5.1 innings and allowed 1 run. The last-place Leones are 15-27.

The Underground had been locked in a 1-1 tie with the Leones going into the bottom of the sixth inning. That changed quickly when the 27-year old right fielder Kolomon Amsel came to the plate. Amsel hit a 2-run home run on a 2-0 fastball from London hurler Ikku Ohayashi. It was Amsel's 6th home run of the year.

"Job one," said Amsel, "is get the job done."
