Victory Pushes Big Daddies Record to 7-3
Fred Gibbs did all he could to help his team win. In the end, though, it wasn't enough to keep the Ohio State Scarlet Brutes from being beaten, 5-4, to the Indiana Big Daddies at Big Daddies Ballpark. Gibbs was 3-5 with a home run and 2 singles. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. Indiana reliever Michael Collier was the winner. His record is now 1-1. The losing pitcher was Yoshitaka Nii. The triumph makes Indiana 7-3, as the team begins another long trek toward the playoffs in 2042.

Indiana went in front, 5-4, on Jack Briggs's 5th home run of the season. The 2-run home run, which Briggs hit in the bottom of the seventh, left Ohio State pitcher Yoshitaka Nii visibly perturbed.

Briggs called the triumph "a good team win."
