The home crowd had a good time watching the Memphis Belles and Seton Hall Rampage get after it.
Seton Hall Rampage starter José Montaño turned in a top-notch performance against the Memphis Belles at Rampage Stadium. The result was a win for the Rampage, 10-2. Montaño yielded 1 run over 6.1 innings to notch the win. He scattered 2 hits, walked 1, and struck out 3. His record improves to 1-0.
Patrick Copeland hit a 2-run double off Joe Callahan in the bottom of the second, which put the Rampage in front, 2-0. In addition to the double, Copeland had 3 singles, while going 4 for 5.
Memphis manager Jeff Newth called the blowout loss "a real dud."
The win leaves Seton Hall with a record of 4-0.
