Aurora 3-0 Losers to Arroyos
|
Yuma Arroyos starter Elio Polandi turned in an exceptional performance against the Aurora Borealis at Northern Lights Park, resulting in a Yuma win, 3-0. Terrence Brown earned the save for Yuma. The second-place Borealis now sit at 23-17.
Yuma used the hitting of Kyle MacAra to pick up the win. The third baseman clubbed a 2-run home run in the top of the second inning to put the Arroyos on top, 2-0. For the game, MacAra had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.
"They played a better game than we did," said Aurora skipper Michel Provost.
