Luna Impressive in 9-1 El Ray Triumph
The Zapopan Torrenas had to reckon with El Ray Vampiros hurler Arturo Luna. Luna, who finished 3rd in the ABSF-MEX AAA in saves with 23 in 2032, overwhelmed the opposition in the 9-1 Vampiros triumph. The Torrenas, 4-7, continue their sluggish start to the 2042 campaign.

Luna, who has sometimes raised the ire of coaches and teammates with his famously lackadaisical work ethic, turned in a spirited effort. The hurler struck out 5 in 8.1 innings and gave up 1 run.

Luna, who is a three-time All-Star, moves to 1-0 on the year with 14 strikeouts.
