The Aurora Borealis eked out a 3-2 win versus the Palm Springs Codgers at Elderberry Field. Nobody did more than pitcher Brenden Clymo. He was terrific. Clymo yielded 1 run over 7.1 innings to notch the win. He scattered 4 hits, walked 1, and struck out 8. His record improves to 14-8. With the win, Aurora has a record of 76-46. Palm Springs falls to 66-55.

The Borealis got a big at-bat from catcher Henry Bojórquez. For the game, Bojórquez went 1 for 4 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. In the top of the second, with a runner on 2nd, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 2nd home run of the season gave Aurora a 2-1 lead.
