At The Malthouse, the Madison Malts and Bakersfield Bears were greeted by an enthusiastic crowd.

The Bakersfield Bears converted a terrific effort from starter Yoshinobu Amano into a win over the Madison Malts at The Malthouse. The Bears won the game by a final score of 6-0. Bakersfield's record now stands at 11-25, placing them last in the Sovereign League Desert Hills.

Bakersfield relied on the hitting of Bernardo Romano to pick up the win. The left fielder ripped a run-scoring triple in the top of the first inning to put the Bears on top, 1-0. For the game, Romano had 1 triple and 1 single in 4 at-bats.
