San Luis Potosi pitcher Edgardo Flores did his part in helping his team defeat the Naucalpan Cafe Tacvbas, 4-1. The opposition could never get too much going against the right-hander. In 6 innings, Flores surrendered 2 hits, while striking out 4 and walking 2. He allowed no runs. The win gives San Luis Potosi a record of 5-2.
Tomás Morán had a big run-scoring double for the Jardineros in the bottom of the sixth inning. With San Luis Potosi leading 1-0 and a runner on 2nd, he got a forkball from 30-year old left-handed pitcher Roberto Cota and swatted a double to right-center. It was his 1st double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Jardineros ahead, 2-0.
"My job is to go out and play as hard as I can for the Jardineros," said Morán.
