The Medicine Hat Drillers took it on the chin, losing, 10-0, to the Seoul Crushers. Jorge Lorenzo, who is tied for 6th in the PCAL in complete games with 1, pitched a strong game for Seoul. Seoul used the hitting of Mike Hopewell to pick up the win. The shortstop clubbed a 2-run home run in the top of the sixth inning to put the Crushers on top, 3-0. For the game, Hopewell had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.

"You can't sugarcoat this one," said Medicine Hat manager Michael Burton. "They smoked us."
