Riding the 3-hit performance of the 23-year old first baseman Pedro Braña, the Lodoss Spell Swords defeated the Red Deer Kings, 6-0. Lodoss pitcher Sancho Morales earned the win, hiking his record to 3-1. José Barrera suffered the loss. The last-place Spell Swords own a record of 19-36.

With Lodoss leading 1-0 in the bottom of the fifth, Braña hit a fastball from José Barrera for a 2-run home run. It was his 6th home run of the season and put the Spell Swords ahead, 3-0.

"Good baseball players make you a smarter manager," said Lodoss manager Hidekazu Yamamoto.
