Camacho Surgical in Hamilton Win
|
The Hamilton Industrialists got a marvelous performance from pitcher Francisco Camacho. The right-hander kept the Red Deer offense from ever getting much traction. The result was an impressive 1-0 Hamilton victory at Hamilton Grounds. Hiroya Ine earned the save for Hamilton. Today's win puts Hamilton at 23-25, while Red Deer falls to 26-22.
Camacho, who was born in Buenos Aires, delivered a quality start for Hamilton. The 6-foot-6 right-hander allowed no earned runs on 3 hits over 7 innings of work.
"You can't win if you don't score any runs," said losing manager Michizane Oya. "You don't need Confucius to tell you that."
