Crushatorium was the site for Pacific Alliance action featuring the Kumamoto Mothra and Seoul Crushers.
The Seoul Crushers beat the Kumamoto Mothra, 7-4. Seoul pitcher and New York, native Barney Swanson led the way. Swanson picked up the win for Seoul, going 7.2 innings. He gave up 4 runs on 7 hits. He now sports a record of 2-0. Ryan Coyfe nailed down the save.
With two out in the bottom of the fourth, Yosuke Sasaki put Seoul in front, 3-1, with a 2-run single. The Crushers went on to win the ballgame.
Sasaki told a Seoul Bulletin reporter that the win made him feel "invigorated."
Seoul, at 26-15, holds down second place in the Pacific Alliance Cherry Blossom.
