Hamilton got a decent performance from pitcher Xiao-yan Zhào, but it wasn't enough to beat the Lodoss Spell Swords. Lodoss won the Forcelia Field contest, 5-4. Zhào threw 8.0 innings allowing 4 runs for the losing team. Lodoss pitcher Rodrigo Castro earned the win, hiking his record to 1-5. Hiroya Ine suffered the loss. Lodoss now sits at 13-28, while Hamilton falls to 18-23.

Ogai Kichida was the walk-off hero for Lodoss. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Spell Swords designated hitter hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"I still have a lot of confidence in this team," Lodoss manager Hidekazu Yamamoto said afterward.
