Seoul Rallies to 6-2 Win
|
The performance of Madison Hollett proved critical in helping Seoul beat Toyohira, 6-2, in 12 innings. The Crushers first baseman was 2-4 with a home run and 2 walks, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once. The save went to Barney Swanson, number 3 for him. The Crushers sit in second place in the Pacific Alliance Cherry Blossom with a record of 24-13.
Hollett had a game-changing home run in the top of the 12th. On a first pitch cutter from Ramón Martínez, he banged a grand slam home run to right, giving the Crushers a 6-2 lead. It was the 2nd home run of the year for Hollett.
"It's a good feeling when you fight so hard and win," said Crushers manager Lúcio Medina.
