Both teams had their opportunities, but in the end, the Seoul Crushers got the win.
The Seoul Crushers earned a close win over the Red Deer Kings, thanks in part to Pepe Ramírez. The Seoul right-hander, who leads the PCAL in complete games with 2, played a key role in the 3-2 victory. At 21-10, the Crushers find themselves in first place in the Pacific Alliance Cherry Blossom.
Gertrudes Balazes, who is tied for 3rd in the PCAL in runs scored with 21, had a direct impact on the outcome. Balazes contributed a run-scoring ground out in the top of the second inning to put Seoul up, 3-2.
"Good pitching, clutch hitting," said Seoul skipper Lúcio Medina. "I can't complain."
