The Seoul Crushers thumped the Red Deer Kings, 8-2, at Kings Ballpark. Loflinger Gorz was a big reason his team got the win. Gorz was 1 for 3 with a home run and 2 walks. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3. Ryan Coyfe recorded the save, his 1st. The Crushers, at 20-10, lead by one game in their division.

With Seoul leading 5-2 in the top of the ninth, Gorz hit a slider from Monte Paul for a 3-run home run. It was his 2nd home run of the season and put the Crushers ahead, 8-2.

"We didn't put our best foot forward tonight," said losing manager Michizane Oya.
