Mario Mejía had a 4-RBI night to help the Laval Islanders down the Edmonton Mall Ratz, 8-5. Dimian Aldrama closed it out for his 3rd save. The Islanders, now 18-9, have played well so far.

With Laval leading 5-4 in the bottom of the sixth, Mejía hit a changeup from Johnny Glover for a 3-run home run. It was his 2nd home run of the season and put the Islanders ahead, 8-4.

"We've got a great group of guys," Mejía said, "and we're having fun right now."
