Edmonton pitcher Fred Gross did his part in helping his team beat the Seoul Crushers, 3-1. The right-hander kept opposing batters from doing too much damage. Marvin Christopher notched his 1st save of the season. The win takes Edmonton to 12-13.
Edmonton went in front, 3-1, on Eric Wallace's 9th double of the season. The 2-run double, which Wallace hit in the bottom of the eighth, left Seoul pitcher Byron Ingleby visibly perturbed.
Said Seoul manager Lúcio Medina: "We weren't able to do much."
