The Seoul Crushers trumped the Lodoss Spell Swords, 6-5, at Forcelia Field. Seoul right fielder Madison Hollett was terrific. He was 3 for 4 with a triple, 2 singles, and a walk, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2. The Spell Swords fall to 7-15 and continue their lackluster start to the 2042 season.
Who knows how it would've ended, had it not been for Yosuke Sasaki? The 24-year old catcher Sasaki stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the ninth inning to put Seoul up, 6-5. For the game, he was 2 for 5, including 1 double and 1 single.
"Every time you put a 'W' on the board is always good," said Hollett.
