Sasaki Stars in 12-6 Crushers Win
The Seoul Crushers took on the Medicine Hat Drillers at Crushatorium.

Thanks in large part to catcher Yosuke Sasaki, the Seoul Crushers beat the Medicine Hat Drillers, 12-6. Sasaki was 3-5 with a home run and 2 doubles, while adding 8 RBI and scoring once. Jorge Lorenzo, the winner, is now 2-0. He struck out 4 and walked 1 over 5 innings, while allowing 5 runs on 7 hits.

Sasaki contributed a big hit, a 3-run home run, for Seoul in the bottom of the second. With his team trailing 1-0, Sasaki took a curveball from Haranobu Taniguchi and stroked the home run to left. His 2nd home run of the season allowed the Crushers to leap in front, 3-1.

"Winning the game is always the first objective," Sasaki said.

The setback makes the Drillers 5-9.
