The Medicine Hat Drillers took on the Seoul Crushers at Crushatorium.
Medicine Hat starter Ricardo Cantú pitched well against the Seoul Crushers at Crushatorium. The left-hander led his team to a win, 7-3. Cantú, the winner, moves to 1-2. He threw 6.1 innings of 3-hit ball, while fanning 9 and giving up 2 walks.
Medicine Hat used a clutch at-bat from Iván Hernández to capture the win. The center fielder hammered a 3-run home run in the top of the second inning to put the Drillers ahead, 3-0. It was his lone hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a humdinger.
"Today was a lot of fun," said Hernández.
With the win, Medicine Hat boosts its record to 5-7.
