Late Heroics Net Camels 2-1 Win
|
The Laval Islanders wasted an impressive 7.1-inning effort from starter Dimian Aldrama, falling, 2-1, to the Brampton Camels in 10 innings at Ballpark of Brampton. Armando Pérez picked up the win in relief for Brampton, while Itze Adriaanse took the loss. The win takes Brampton to 7-3.
The Camels got a clutch hit from third baseman Bobby Leach. In the bottom of the tenth, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Camels.
"Everybody in here is a professional. You have to do what you have to do," said Leach.
