Seoul Crushers starter Pepe Ramírez turned in a workmanlike performance against the Sherwood Park Hoods at Hoods Ballpark. Ramírez yielded 5 runs over 7.2 innings to notch the win. He scattered 5 hits, walked 2, and struck out 4. His record improves to 1-1. The triumph makes Seoul 6-4, as the team begins another long trek toward the playoffs in 2042.

Seoul went up, 5-4, on Alfredo Torres's 4th double of the season. The run-scoring double, which Torres hit in the top of the seventh, left Sherwood Park pitcher Shane Benton shaking his head.

Ramírez pitched well, despite being a bit under the weather. "To be honest, I was sick before the game," he said. "Just a stomach bug."
