Mothra Lose as Drillers Stage Late Rally
The home team gave the crowd some walk-off drama.

Medicine Hat starter Gerard Brayley pitched effectively against the Kumamoto Mothra at Medicine Hat Municipal Stadium. The right-hander led his team to a win, 6-5. The win takes Medicine Hat to 2-7.

Up to bat in the bottom of the tenth, 22-year old third baseman Millard Weeks had a chance to be the hero. Kumamoto pitcher Kimi Suzuki wanted to foil that plan. But with one out, Weeks hit a sacrifice fly. The Drillers had themselves a thrilling win.

"When Gerard executes, it really doesn't matter what the other lineup is," said Medicine Hat field general Michael Burton.
