The Toronto Phantoms knocked off the Medicine Hat Drillers, 9-3, at Phantoms Ballpark. Juan Galindo was a big reason Toronto won. The second baseman was 2 for 5 with 2 home runs, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice. Héctor Mendoza notched his 1st save of the season. Toronto goes to 2-0 with the win.

With Toronto leading 2-1 in the bottom of the second, Galindo hit a curveball from Luther González for a 3-run home run. It was his 3rd home run of the season and put the Phantoms ahead, 5-1.

"This is truly a great team to play with," Galindo said after the game. "We're like brothers, and when we come together to pull out the win, that just makes it all the better."
