Loggerdoggers Suffer 6-4 Loss to Seagulls
The Narragansett Seagulls defeated the Beaufort Loggerdoggers, 6-4, in Atlantic Alliance action at Loggerdoggers Ballpark. Narragansett pitcher Patrick Smith had a standout performance. The win for the Seagulls lifted their record to 76-59.

Narragansett used a well-timed hit by Carl Davis to capture the win. The third baseman socked a 2-run double in the top of the second inning to put the Seagulls ahead, 4-0. Though it was his only hit in 4 at-bats, it was important.

"Good win for us," said Smith. "We'll strap it on and go after the next one."
