Late Heroics Net Highlanders 2-1 Win

The Inverness Highlanders and Rockville Reckoning put on quite a show.
The Rockville Reckoning got a superb performance from pitcher Woody Hetherington. Still, it wasn't enough to beat Inverness. The Highlanders won the game, 2-1. Hetherington threw 5.0 innings of shutout ball. The defeat makes Rockville 56-80.
The defining moment came in the bottom of the 11th for Inverness. That's when Eric Moore hit a run-scoring double off 22-year old left-handed pitcher Namboku Ono to win the game. The home crowd went wild.
"This joint was rocking," said Moore.
