Insurers Handle Dykes, Nab 6-2 Win
The Omaha Insurers converted a terrific effort from starter Chris Burbidge into a win over the Den Bosch Dykes at Cyclones Stadium. The Insurers won the game by a final score of 6-2. Burbidge yielded 2 runs over 6 innings to notch the win. He scattered 7 hits, walked 3, and struck out 6. His record improves to 7-10. The Insurers improved their record to 53-77 by beating Den Bosch.

In the bottom of the first inning, third baseman Gustavo Polanco had a 2-run double for Omaha. It was his 12th double of the season and put the Insurers on top, 2-0.
