Reckoning Tag Insurers with 7-2 Loss
|
The Rockville Reckoning knocked off the Omaha Insurers, 7-2, in Atlantic Alliance action at Cyclones Stadium. Rockville pitcher and Kazo, Japan, native Tadakuni Yoshida had an outstanding performance. In 5.2 innings, Yoshida surrendered 6 hits, while striking out 2 and walking 1. He allowed 2 runs. Dong-po Jiu earned the save, his 5th, for the Reckoning.
José Ordóñez helped his team jump on top from the get-go. His first time up in the top of the first, he cranked a run-scoring single to give Rockville a 1-0 lead.
"I give credit to my teammates for this win. We got it done," Ordóñez told the Rockville Chronicle.
After today's action, Rockville sits at 51-74, while Omaha falls to 52-73.
