Bokors Saddle Highlanders with 6-4 Loss
The rain did not keep Port-au-Prince and Inverness from finishing their game.

The Port-au-Prince Bokors bested the Inverness Highlanders by a score of 6-4, with center fielder Gerard Ailen getting the main credit. On the day, Ailen was 2-4 with 2 doubles. He drove in 3 runs for the Bokors. Port-au-Prince pitcher Jorge Mata got the win, upping his record to 1-1. Dennis Bauer got the loss. Huibrecht van T Hof converted his 11th save in 13 tries.

Ailen had a game-changing double in the top of the seventh. On a 1-1 changeup from Pat Nicholson, he banged a 2-run double to left-center, giving the Bokors a 6-4 lead. It was the 8th double of the year for Ailen.

"We had some nice at-bats at the right time," said Bokors manager Ty Lee.

Today's win puts Port-au-Prince at 50-70, while Inverness falls to 62-57.
