The Youngstown Thunder took it on the chin, losing, 10-1, to the Rockville Reckoning. Ruy Monte pitched a strong game for Rockville. In 6 innings, Monte surrendered 3 hits, while striking out 6 and walking 2. He allowed no runs. Tim Wiltshire got the save, the 4th for him this season.

The Reckoning got a big boost from left fielder António Fernández who had a run-scoring walk in the bottom of the first inning off Thunder hurler Meiji Ishikawa. It was his 7th walk of the season and put Rockville on top, 1-0.
