Huffman Powers Reckoning to 9-2 Win
Riding the 3-hit performance of the 23-year old first baseman Tony Huffman, the Rockville Reckoning stopped the Youngstown Thunder, 9-2. Maxime Scrovegni got the win, improving to 4-8. He worked 6 innings, giving up 2 runs on 4 hits, while striking out 1 and walking 4. Dong-po Jiu earned the save for Rockville.

Wally Combs had a big bases-clearing double for the Reckoning in the bottom of the seventh inning. With Rockville leading 3-2 and the bases loaded, he got a fastball from 24-year old right-handed pitcher Norberto Soto and swatted a double to left. It was his 1st double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Reckoning ahead, 6-2.

"It was a solid, all-around game for us," said Rockville manager Gunnar Cameron.

The win puts the Reckoning at 44-70, while the Thunder drop to 54-60.
