Hernández Propels Thunder to 9-5 Win
Youngstown left fielder Ricardo Hernández was instrumental in helping the Thunder triumph, 9-5, over the Inverness Highlanders. Hernández went 3-3 with 3 doubles and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3. Hyun-seung Kim got the win, improving to 5-5. He pitched 5 innings, giving up 4 hits and 1 run, while striking out 5 and walking 2. The win puts the Thunder at 54-59, while the Highlanders drop to 61-51.

Hernández contributed in the bottom of the fourth. With a runner on 1st, he hit a run-scoring double. It was one at-bat among others that helped Youngstown get the win.

"We'll pop the top on a cold beverage and get back to work tomorrow," Hernández said.
