Cole Hinkle was locked and loaded, helping the Inverness Highlanders beat the Youngstown Thunder, 5-1. The Highlanders improved their record to 61-50 with the win over Youngstown.

Inverness starter Cole Hinkle was exceptional. The 6-foot-7 right-hander allowed 1 run on 4 hits over 8.2 innings of work.

"Whenever we hold the other team to one run," said Highlanders manager Chad Fountain, "I like our chances."
