The game between Inverness and Santurce is in the books, despite a little rain.
In a tight tilt between the Inverness Highlanders and the Santurce Castillos, Yong-hoon Kwak was the deciding factor. The Inverness right-hander spearheaded the 2-0 win. Picking up the save was Ju-zheng Chio. He's now 1 for 1 in save chances.
Inverness used the timely hitting of Paco Saucedo to seize the win. The second baseman stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the eighth inning to put the Highlanders on top, 2-0. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.
"Clutch hitting plus clutch pitching usually equals a win," said Saucedo.
The Inverness win streak is now 5 games.
