Behind a solid performance from third baseman Sepi Hauch, the Beaufort Loggerdoggers defeated the Youngstown Thunder, 6-3. Hauch went 2-4 with a home run, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once for the Loggerdoggers. Lewis Bedser was called on to finish, recording his 7th save. Beaufort now owns a record of 62-46.

Hauch contributed a big hit, a grand slam home run, for Beaufort in the bottom of the first. With his team trailing 1-0, Hauch took a cutter from Hyun-seung Kim and stroked the home run to right-center. His 2nd home run of the season allowed the Loggerdoggers to leap in front, 4-1.

"Ah, the sweet taste of victory," Hauch crowed after the game.
