Slumping Rebels Lose 7th Straight
In a low-scoring contest, Inverness pitcher Michael McCarver was marvelous, enabling his team to nab a 2-1 win. The slumping Rebels have lost 7 straight.

The defining moment came in the bottom of the ninth for Inverness. That's when Martin Sanders hit a solo home run off 24-year old left-handed pitcher Lewis Strudwick to win the game. The home crowd went wild.

Said losing manager Eitoku Miyamoto: "We've got to find a way to push a run across."
