Highlanders Fall to Insurers, 6-2

A nice crowd turned out for a clash between the Omaha Insurers and Inverness Highlanders.
The Inverness Highlanders got a superb performance from pitcher William Kerr, but the Omaha Insurers still won the game, 6-2. Kerr came in in relief and pitched to 17 batters. Omaha bumps their record to 43-57 with the win.
Ciaran MacKellar had a key at-bat with one out in the top of the third for Omaha. With the bases loaded and the Insurers leading 1-0, he drew a walk, driving in 1 run.
"It was a good win," said Omaha manager Naozane Watanabe. "Not without blemish, but good."
