Spirited fans greeted the Bowling Green Rebels for their clash with the Omaha Insurers.

Alfredo De La Cruz helped his team muscle past the Bowling Green Rebels, 6-4. In the game, the Omaha third baseman was 1 for 3 with a home run and 2 walks. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. Omaha, at 37-55, sits in last place in the Atlantic Alliance North.

De La Cruz had a game-changing home run in the top of the ninth. On a 2-1 fastball from Jorge Quintana, he banged a 2-run home run to left, giving the Insurers a 6-4 lead. It was the 6th home run of the year for De La Cruz.

"This was a total team effort," said De La Cruz.
