Craig Airy, who is tied for 9th in the ATAL in wins with 6, had a strong outing for the Santurce Castillos against the Youngstown Thunder at Santurce Stadium. The right-hander was a big part of his team's 3-2 win. In 7.2 innings, Airy surrendered 8 hits, while striking out 5 and walking 0. He allowed 2 runs. Aaron Gamble closed the game out for Santurce, earning his 3rd save.
Chan-su Ch'on, who leads the ATAL with a .601 slugging percentage, chipped in a solo home run for Santurce in the bottom of the seventh. For the game, the first baseman had 2 hits in 4 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 1 run scored, and 1 RBI.
