Berridge gets 5 RBI in Omaha Win
|
The Omaha Insurers downed the Narragansett Seagulls, 8-6, at Narragansett Stadium. The Insurers were led by Kai Berridge. Berridge was 2-3 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He drove in 5 runs and scored once. Ken King got the save, the 12th for him this season. Omaha is now 23-35, Narragansett 32-27.
In the top of the sixth, Berridge put his team in front with his 10th home run of the season. The grand slam home run, which came against Dennis Douglas, made it 7-3, Omaha.
"It wasn't a pretty victory," said Berridge, "but we got it done."
