2-0 Camden Win Thrills Crowd
|
In a low-scoring game between the Camden Consigliere and the Maine Lobsters, pitcher Brant Metcalf was masterful on the mound. The Camden left-hander spearheaded his team's 2-0 win. Camden is now 28-22, Maine 30-20.
The decisive blow was delivered by César García in the bottom of the 12th when he hit a 2-run home run off 22-year old right-handed pitcher Josh Brown to win the game for Camden. The home crowd went nuts.
"This stadium was a-rockin'," said García.
