Highlanders Earn Clutch Win, 7-6
No one was more impactful than Juan Kent in the 7-6 Inverness win over Hampton. Kent went 3-3 with 2 doubles and 2 walks, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. The win was credited to 26-year old right-handed pitcher Raúl Muñóz in relief. His record improves to 1-1. Calvin Woodard took the loss. José Romero earned save number 3 this season.

Kent had a game-changing double in the top of the ninth. On a 0-2 changeup from Calvin Woodard, he banged a 2-run double to left, giving the Highlanders a 7-6 lead. It was the 6th double of the year for Kent.

"It wasn't a pretty victory," said Kent, "but we got it done."

After today's action, Inverness sits at 16-23; Hampton slips to 7-32.
