The Den Bosch Dykes picked up a win at Cyclones Stadium, knocking off the Omaha Insurers, 3-0. On the mound for Den Bosch was left-hander Ronald Mitchell. He played a key role in the triumph. Picking up the save was 29-year old left-handed pitcher Tommy Atkins. The Dykes now own a record of 28-12.

Mitchell, who was born in Hermantown, Minnesota, threw 102 pitches over 6.1 innings, while allowing no runs.

"When he's dealing, Ronald is a tough customer," said Den Bosch manager Hisanobu Ono.
