At Le Parc du Port, the Port-au-Prince Bokors and Narragansett Seagulls were greeted by an enthusiastic crowd.
The Narragansett Seagulls picked up a win at Le Parc du Port, dropping the Port-au-Prince Bokors, 5-2. Edmund Kline was the difference-maker. Kline yielded 2 runs over 7.1 innings to notch the win. He scattered 2 hits, walked 2, and struck out 9. His record improves to 4-0. Kyoshi Murakami picked up his 6th save of the season.
Vicente Rodríguez dealt the Bokors a blow in the top of the first. Batting with the bases loaded and Narragansett leading 1-0, Rodríguez, who is tied for 7th in the ATAL in triples with 2, hit a 2-2 fastball for a 2-run single.
"Glad to go home with a win," said Rodríguez.
Narragansett is now 20-15, while Port-au-Prince is 13-22.
